		<description>Reading follow up reports from various sources, the absence of large waves is pointed to the horizontal vs vertical motion of the earthquake.  The 2004 quake had a vertical movement and it caused huge amount of water to be displace causing the tidal waves.  This earthquake was horizontal.  Though the results are bad, it&#039;s not as bad as 2004.
